GREAT FEAST LIKE IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS
In the room "Alt-Leipzig", the guest is transported back to a time that was already called "the good old days" at the beginning of the previous century. Original paintings, painted by students of the art academy based on historical templates, can be found in the vaulted corners. Unfortunately, their names have not been preserved.
The ten cityscapes depict various buildings and squares of Leipzig before 1870. Because the original appearance of the city was completely transformed during the founding years through countless new buildings. Those who let their imagination run wild can still stroll through the romantic old Leipzig in their thoughts today.
