The salon "Anton Mädler" has been named after the famous "Suitcase King". Remnants of the life and work of the renowned handbag manufacturer lend the space a very personal ambiance.
The "Royal Saxon concessioned suitcase and bag factory Moritz Mädler" was founded in 1850 by Carl Moritz Mädler in Wurzen and had a factory in Leipzig-Lindenau since 1886. Anton Mädler was the owner of the company and received the award as a royal Saxon purveyor to the court in 1889.
A festively set table and warm candlelight set the guest in the mood for a romantic evening in our historic restaurant. Especially wedding couples use the "Anton Mädler" salon to celebrate their "Big Day" and to keep this special occasion in unforgettable memory.
